Tourist Information Centre are available throughout the city. They will provide you with various information on many things, ranging from how to catch a bus to offering accommodations and services. Just look for the international information sign if you are in the city. Most centres can be found in various places such as Metrotown Mall, corner of Robson Square or the Habour Centre.

You can also access the Internet and use this web site as a general guide to explore Vancouver. Good books are available in the Vancouver Public Library and provide a more in depth look at the city. News agencies can sell you short handy pocked guides which are easier to carry around and packed.

Travel agencies are located throughout the city and they can provide you with the chance to try other adventures outside of Vancouver city such as whitewater rafting or horse riding. They will also have free pamphlets and maps of the city. If you want a more comprehensive map, simply ask any news agencies or local bookstores as they have a wide selection of maps booklet.

There are tourist information centres spread throughout Vancouver. You can visit one at Burrard and Cordova Street or at the domestic and international terminal at the Vancouver International Airport.
