Although at first glance a quintessential Canadian mall, Richmond Centre is in fact a quintessential Vancouver mall in that many of its merchants cater to the needs of Richmond's large Asian community. You can find major stores like Sears, Zellers and The Bay here. There is ample parking places so you don't need to worry about parking, however, it may get crowded during Boxing Day.

Aberdeen Centre is catered mainly to Richmond's Asian population. It has over 50 stores that specialises in Asian ware. The food court sells a variety of authentic Asian dishes. There is a stage set within the food court with life performances on the weekends.

Before the opening of Richmond Centre, Landown Park was considered to be one of Richmond's largest shopping centre. You can still find a lot a retail shops here, most notably Winners Canada and American Outfitters.

Browsing through the Yaohan Centre is quite an experience. You will feel as if you are walking in a mall in Asia. The food court sells authentic Chinese dishes, ranging from Manchu China to Japan. There is a large grocery store next to the food court that offer a variety of items you cannot get in normal stores.
