Coquitlam Centre's award-winning architecture brings something of an aesthetic value to mall shopping. The ceiling's dark wood sets off the large stained-glass panels which were created by three top British Columbia artists. The centre owns about 27 statues (all created by local artists) which form a permanent exhibit throughout the mall. Among the more than 170 stores are some unique stops like the Royal Doulton. Located at Coquitlam, it is the largest centre east of Vancouver.
