Facebook helps mother find her lost son

Lori Haas gave up her son for adoption 20 years. She is now living in Richmond, BC, Canada and works as a nurse. She decided to try and find her son which she'd given up for adoption long ago.

She managed to get her son's name when the adoption records were unsealed. However, she didn't have any other information about her son and no way to find him.

Haas turned to Facebook to help her find her son. Haas typed in her son's name in Facebook and managed to find her son. The two have reunited thanks to the help of Facebook.
