 Lumiere Lumiere is operated by chef Robert Feenie. His ecclectic style is reflected in the food which is a blend of European elegance, North American flair and Asian delicacy. This restuarant has won numerous awards such as Best Vancouver restaurant. Location: 2551 Broadway, Vancouver.

Highly regarded, even more highly overpriced and over-rated. Try one of the multi-course Tasting Menus (all well over $100). This will give you an idea of Chef Feenie's vision. The Arctic char served with Grainy Mustard Risotto is astoundingly flavorful, the Duck Breast unpleasantly textured and unser-sauced. Pay an extra $15 or so for the Cheese course. Close with a glass of Moscato d'Asti and the delicious Chocolate Beet Ganache served with a blob of Espelette Pepper Ice Cream. Good, but Lumiere failed to really shine on a recent visit.
